NAAD Foundation organised a concert by Maestro Ustad Gulam Ali on 24th November, 2011, at Tagore Theatre, Sector-18, Chandigarh. “GHULAM ALI” the singing sensation has enthralled audiences all over the world for almost four decades. During the captivating concert, noted playback singer and ghazal virtuoso, Vinod Sehgal, a foremost disciple of ghazal king Jagjit Singh, displayed his versatility with his hit ghazals. Sehgal paid tributes to his guru by presenting his ghazal “Aadmi aadmi ko kya dega” before his popular numbers “Hain aur bhi duniyan” and “Koi din agar zindgani” from Mirza Gahlib and “Chhod ayae voh galiyan” from the film “Machis”. He rendered self-composed ghazals like “Ikk dua ne” and “Agar talaash karun” to perfection.
